At 1pm, Saturday, June 13 there will be a Climate Emergency rally (and march to Treasury Gardens) at the State Library, Melbourne, but if you can’t make it you can follow along with the live blog. I’ll be in the thick of it tapping away to deliver you an account of the rally (and march).
Speakers include:
- Peter Marshall – United Firefighters Union,
- Emeretta Cross -Tuvaluan climate activist,
- David Spratt – author Climate Code Red,
- Greens leader Senator Bob Brown,
- Rod Quantock – Melbourne comedian and
- Teagan Edwards – Yarra Climate Action Now.
