In support of Oxfam, and wanting to take some action locally on climate change, BrimbankCAN will be hosting a Climate Change Forum. Our last event did not precede due to low registration numbers, but we’re not dissuaded from hosting this event.
To ensure that we here at the Brimbank Climate Action Network deliver this forum as carbon neutral as possible, it will be delivered entirely online. Instead of requiring participants to travel to a building; the building requiring heating (depending on size of the space); more energy used for computers and ICT, warm/cold beverages etc etc – we’re going to host a show ‘BrimbankCAN Climate Change Forum’ using the Internet.
Participating is as close as your computer or your laptop. You won’t need to download any software. You don’t need to understand complicated panels and instructions to watch and participate. All you need is an Internet connection and an hour of your time. Over the next week we’ll let you know how you can participate in this 1 hour forum.
In the meantime stick this in your diary (and come back frequently for more information):
What: BrimbankCAN’s ‘Climate Change Forum’ Show
When: Sunday, 28 September from 3pm to 4pm
